Today marked the mid-autumn festival, celebrating plentiful harvests, gathering of friends and family, and a bit of indulgence in some traditional moon cakes. I was treated to an exceptional barbecue and evening by Prof. River Shen and the rest of the HiSpec lab group! With tons of interesting and delicious foods cooked up fresh, I couldn’t help but end the night stuffed and satisfied!

 

And what meal is complete with out some exquisite tea? Prof. Shen spared no expense treating us to some high quality Oolong tea, a variety Taiwan has become particularly famous for!
